I've been slacking on my updating here! I'm sorry about that! I've been crocheting like crazy on a baby blanket (done!) and a dishcloth for a swap (nearly done). I'll take pictures of the blanket tonight and get it up hear. I'm also planning on taking pictures of all the preemie things I've done.
So be on the lookout for a big post tonight!

The baby sweater and hat set is finished! Washed, ends woven in and buttons sewn on. I'm so glad it's finally done!!
Here's a picture...

I also got a dishcloth done. It's a diagonal sc one from the DishclothsRUs files...

And I made these Bookworm bookmarks from a pattern in a
Crochet World magazine. I think they're so cute!

Now I'm working on squares for the 63 Squares CAL and a dishcloth for an exchange.

Baby sweaters and other things...
After having to frog the first sleeve 3 times I finally got both sleeves on the baby sweater. I had to change the pattern because the sleeve pattern in the book just wasn't working. I think they turned out okay though and I actually think the sleeves look better this way. Now just the front bands and the neck trimming and it'll be done. Then on to the cap and maybe booties.
I'm working on another dishcloth, this time a diagonal single crochet one. It's turning out nicely. It's for a JIC for a swap group I'm on.
I'm about to make a foray into double ended crochet hook work. I've got a book of double ended hook dishcloth patterns and I'm going to give it a whirl for an upcoming swap. Hopefully I can get the hang of it quick. :-)
I'm thinking of ordering a Tunisian dishcloth book from Annie's Attic and maybe the Tunisian crochet starter set too.
I'm going to get out all the preemie clothes I've made and take pictures of them before I send them, so be on the lookout for a post for those soon!

Here are the two things that I finished last night....

Large Bath Puff from the June 2005 issue of Crochet World made from Cotton Tots in Strawberry. It was easy to do, just a little annoying.

Dishcloth #73 from Leisure Arts Big Book of Dishcloths in Peaches & Creme Yellow and White.
I joined the 63 Squares Crochet-A-Long at
Crochetville, so now I'm working on that as well as the baby sweater. I'm doing the 63 squares from Simply Soft Brites to match my room. I think it will look really neat once I get it done. The fun in that is going to joining all of those squares, which is something I've never done. :-P

My arms are screaming at me. I finished a dishcloth and a bath puff while I was watching the NASCAR race and boy, are my arms hurting. I guess that's what I get for pushing to get the bath puff finished.
Pictures to come tomorrow! :-)

I think I have everything set up like I want it for now. I really love Blog Drive, it's so much easier to use than Blogspot.
Anyhow, I've been busily working on baby hats for a list I'm on. They donate the hats to military hospitals and since I love to make baby things I do some hats for them. I'm also working on a Tulip Stitch dishcloth for a friends birthday. It's a really neat pattern that I'm sure I'll use again.
My grandma made a good find at the flea market yesterday. She got Leisure Arts' My First Layettes book for me for 50¢. It has 4 different really cute layettes in it and I think I'm going to use one of the patterns for the sweater and hat I've been commissioned to make.
That's all on the crochet front from me for now. I'm going to take pictures of the hats I've made and post them tomorrow.
